How to Watch NCAA Division I Soccer in Australia

With more than 30 conferences and 340 teams in NCAA Division I women’s soccer, it is unsurprising that the streaming landscape is fairly fractured, and watching in Australia only makes things more difficult. With the majority of conferences now partnering with ESPN+, which is only available in the US, finding a way to watch the Aussie in the top level of NCAA women’s soccer is hardly straightforward, but we will attempt to provide some kind of guidance.

It is also worth noting that checking a team’s schedule and social media channels is almost always the best way to find out if a live stream is available, particularly for non-conference games.

Cost: $9.99USD per month, $99.99USD per year
Other Requirements: Must be located in the USA, must pay with a US credit card/PayPal account

ESPN+ is by far the most popular choice of streaming partner for NCAA Division I conferences, which makes watching in Australia exceedingly difficult. Not only is it only available in the US, it also requires a US PayPal account or credit card to pay for the subscription.

WatchESPN

Link: watchespn.com.au
Cost: Included with Foxtel or Fetch TV subscription with ESPN
Other Restrictions: Must have Foxtel or Fetch TV subscription that includes ESPN

WatchESPN is a service that is available in Australia that shows college sports on occasion. It is not available as a standalone product; it is included with either a Foxtel or Fetch TV subscription that includes ESPN (this does not include Kayo). The Foxtel subscription appears to deliver more games than the Fetch TV subscription, with games from the ACC Network and SEC Network occasionally available.

FloSports

Conferences Covered:

Big East

  • Butler (Claire Farrington)
  • Seton Hall (Grace Mitchell, Sarah Mitchell)

FloSports is expensive, but that is due to the fact that it covers 25+ sports. Unfortunately, there is no option to purchase a single sport, meaning you’re on the hook for everything even if you just want to watch college soccer. Currently, the Big East is the only conference featuring Aussies that FloSports covers, however the network also shows Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) games, so if any Australians are playing away at a CAA team, there is a good chance that the game will be on FloSports.

Conference Streaming

Several conferences run their own live streaming channels, either to allow international viewers to watch games that would otherwise be on ESPN, or as their own standalone channels.

How to Watch: Big Ten Plus
Link: https://www.bigtenplus.com/
