2024 NAIA, JUCO, and USports Week 7 Wrap

Two Aussies scoring a hat-trick in the same game? Sure…in a 3-3 draw? Guess again. Samantha Bayer and Talia Sanders each earned a match ball in Northeast’s 23-0 win over Marshalltown. Meanwhile, Gaby Sarkis continues to terrorise opponents at NAIA level, and a pair of Aussies found the back of the net in Tyler’s win over Paris.

NAIA

Briar Cliff (IA) (Tamzin Hilton)

This week: lost 1-0 to Concordia (Neb.)

Tamzin Hilton came off the bench to play 37 minutes in Briar Cliff’s loss to Concordia Nebraska.

Corban (Ava Hayes)

This week: lost 1-0 to Oregon Tech; lost 3-0 to Southern Oregon

Ava Hayes played the first 55 minutes in Corban’s loss, making three saves, but did not feature in the loss to Southern Oregon.

Cumberlands (Ky.) (Georgia Martell)

This week: match v Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) postponed

Cumberlands’ only match of the week against Freed-Hardeman was postponed.

Jamestown (N.D.) (Olivia Cullen, Gaby Sarkis)

This week: defeated University of Minnesota-Crookston 3-0

Olivia Cullen started and played 83 minutes in Jamestown’s win over Minnesota-Crookston, whilst Gaby Sarkis also started, rattling off six shots with four on target, scoring with one of those in 73 minutes of playing time.
