2024 Week 5 NAIA, JUCO and USports Wrap

Northeast’s Aussie foursome continued to shine at NJCAA Division II level as the Hawks put 16 goals past their two opponents this week. Meanwhile, Gabby Stone continues her good form in front of goal, whilst a number of other players either found the back of the net or notched assists this week.

Corban (Ava Hayes)

This week: defeated Whitworth 2-1; lost 5-0 to Whitman

Ava Hayes started both games for Corban this week, playing the full 90 minutes and making six saves against Whitworth, and making a single save in 52 minutes against Whitman.

Talia Sanders posted identical stat lines in Northeast’s two games this weekend, starting on each occasion and bagging a pair of goals and an assist in each game. Helena Chetcuti did the same, coming off the bench to tally an assist on both occasions. Amelia Bingley also came off the bench in both games, scoring a goal against Morton before adding two more goals and three assists against Oakton. Samantha Bayer started against Morton, scoring one and assisting another, before coming off the bench to score a hat-trick against Oakton.
