2024 NCAA Division II and III Week 4 Wrap

As expected, he first week of NCAA Division II saw plenty of debuts, but some familiar faces also impressed. Liv Riddel continues to star between the sticks for Jefferson, whilst Maddie Teakle helped Seton Hill to a pair of clean sheets. Meanwhile, in Division III, Maya Spatafore appears to be settling in impressively quickly at Lesley.

American International (Eloise Paine)

This week: defeated D’Youville 1-0; lost 1-0 to Daemen

Eloise Paine did not feature for American International in either game this week.

Barton (Brigitte Sander)

This week: lost 3-1 to Wingate; defeated Mars Hill 2-0

Brigitte Sander came off the bench to play six minutes against Wingate, but did not feature in Barton’s win over Mars Hill.

Cal Poly Pomona (Georgia Rink)

This week: defeated Vanguard 1-0; defeated Biola 2-0

Georgia Rink came off the bench to play 34 minutes in Cal Poly Pomona’s win over Vanguard, before moving into the starting lineup and playing 52 minutes against Biola.

Cal State Dominguez Hills (Katie McDermott)

This week: drew 0-0 with Academy of Art

Katie McDermott did not feature in Cal State Dominguez Hills’ draw with Academy of Art.

Caldwell (Liz Warne)

This week: defeated Staten Island 5-0; drew 1-1 with Mansfield

Liz Warne did not feature for Caldwell in either game this week.

Carson-Newman (Amber Wilkinson)

This week: lost 6-0 to Columbus St.; defeated Union (TN) 4-1

Amber Wilkinson came off the bench to play the final 14 minutes between the sticks in Carson-Newman’s loss to Columbus State, but did not feature in the win over Union.

Catawba (Ashley Hughes)

This week: defeated Embry-Riddle (FL) 3-2; defeated Georgia College 3-1

Ashley Hughes played the full 90 minutes for Catawba in both games this week, making four saves against Embry-Riddle and a single save in the win over Georgia College.

Charleston (WV) (Ciara Casamento, Kate Duffy)

This week: lost 3-1 to Gannon; lost 2-0 to Kutztown

Ciara Casamento started both games for Charleston this week, playing 72 minutes against Gannon before registering a shot in 75 minutes of playing time against Kutztown. Kate Duffy did not feature in either game this week.

Concord (Caitlin Webster, Holly Gray)

Caitlin Webster started both games for Concord this week, playing 70 minutes against Kutztown and putting one of her two shots on target in a 90-minute outing against Gannon. Seton Hill (Maddie Teakle)
