Roff Links Up With Aussie Coach At Fairleigh Dickinson

Canberra United training squad member Samantha Roff has signed with Fairleigh Dickinson University of the Northeast Conference and will commence playing in the 2016 season. Roff will link up with Australian 2004 U/19 World Cup representative Julia Bazi, who is now an assistant coach for the Knights.

An ACT Academy Of Sport athlete, Roff spent the 2015/16 season training with Canberra United and also played in the side’s January friendly against the Singapore national team, where the young winger helped set up a goal in Canberra United’s 13-0 victory. With the ability to play anywhere on the right flank, Roff’s versatility potentially gives her more playing opportunities as Fairleigh Dickinson look to defend their Northeast Conference title and possibly go further in the NCAA Tournament, where they lost in the first round to top seeded Rutgers.
